The deadly bite

Be careful of the baby’s bite! As of now he hasn’t try to bite me, although i can’t say the same with his popo (grandma) and his dad.

There is this day we forgot his safety cloth (the infamous yellow diaper cloth), he cried for it in the car seat. To him, sleep = thumb sucking with his cloth. As he get sleepier, he cried even louder. His dad (in panic mode) attempted to pacify him by decided to holding his little hand.

Owww!!…. He shrieked at the top of lungs. The baby took in his finger and bite with all his might.

Just so you know the impact, this is how an orange look with his playful bite.

Bite you!

Poke your nose!

I’m beginning to worry. How do you tell a baby ‘no’? without having to say the actual word?

Cub has been attacking at our nostrils. Yes, his latest discovery. He would poke his finger totally through your nostril and scream when you wriggle or turn your head away. And he do this with determination while looking very focused. It’s like he’s keen to find out what’s beyond the deep holes.

While I should encourage him to explore, nostril is not where I want his little finger to be probing. In this case, distracting him didn’t work. And yes he already did the mouth several times and I have bite him lightly to let him know please do not put your fingers here. I hate to think that he’s going to start probing the eyes.

I heard you have to teach them to cover the eyes, nose, mouth, generally various body areas that are especially sensitive to teach them to cover them instead of poke.

This is cub biting his grandma for fun (lightly)!
