Sunday School

Finally got Samuel registered for Sunday School. He was not enthusiastic about the whole thing. I think the crowd scared him. I didn’t expect to see 50 kids in one classroom singing together either. Everyone was in their Sunday best. I made a mental note to put more dressy shirt on him next Sunday.

Sunday school is very different from what I remember. It was just all bible or daily bread discussion during my times. Now they have all these hand signs for piquing the kids’ interest. Even cutout props for kids on whiteboard and snacks to reward those who finished their work.

Still Samuel refused to do his colourings or rather he insisted they are done because they are supposed to be white in colour.

And every time when everyone closed their eyes for prayers, he would try so hard to pretend to keep them closed. I remember doing that myself when I was young.
